The ultimate goal of managing a practice is of course to expand it from one level to another higher level.

Without a brand presence that stands out above the competition and a system to actively get new patients on a continuous basis, you’re not going to replace the attrition that occurs each year in a practice. It’s estimated that any practice will lose about 20% of its active patient base in any given one year. So, in order to maintain growth, you have to have more new patients coming in than the active patients that are leaving.

We find most practices aren’t getting enough new patients because they’re not performing the long-standing, standard marketing actions inside and outside their practice that they should be.
