Fred has been with Silkin since 1984. Prior to beginning his career as a consultant, he owned and managed the largest martial arts facility in the Pacific Northwest.
He has also served as the Chair for the National Federation of Independent Businesses of Oregon, with a membership of more than 8000 small businesses, as Chairman of the Committee on Performance Excellence for the State of Oregon and on the Governor’s Small Business Council. He has also helped develop and taught the curriculum for two university MBA programs.
As CEO, Fred King has lead Silkin into a new era of standardization, developed Practice Systems, and created a codified method of practice management.
